Stories from my feet
How would feet perceive their surroundings, could they see? How does the city show itself from their limited perspective and how do other feet show themselves in motion? The idea for this series came about accidentally. During practice shots from the frog\'s perspective in the archways of the Vienna Opera, a passer-by walked through the picture relatively close to the camera. Contrary to the first expectation of a failed shot, the photo had a certain charm in its randomness and the idea for this series was born. This certain unpredictability and randomness of the results is both the challenge and the charm of this photo series for me. To a certain extent, the work on this series is also a social study of people\'s behaviour. While many passers-by wait patiently until I am finished - crouching on the ground - and doing whatever I\'m doing there, others give a wide berth so as not to walk through my shot. But there are also those passers-by who either walk carelessly, not noticing the photographer on the ground at all, or impatiently and indifferent through the picture. These are the people I count on! Let\'s take a walk through my city.
