I am a Tokyo-based photographer working exclusively with a smartphone camera, capturing scenes strictly as found without staging. With a background in architecture and social informatics from the University of Tokyo, I spent years in creative and strategic fields before focusing on photography. Most of my work stays close to home, documenting the deadpan absurdity of the everyday. Alongside my practice, I am also developing an independent business project about photography.
