When I was younger, someone told me I would never grow unless I faced my fears. Little did I know, facing that fear would ignite a passion inside of me. Storms can be terrifying, but they can also be beautiful. I want to show people what can happen when they face their fears.

My name is Jonah Lange. I am a photographer & storm chaser with a passion for showing people Mother Nature's most beautiful moments. From solar storms to severe storms and landscapes, no moment is ever the same. Photography and weather have shaped my life since sixth grade, when I picked up my parents’ old camera and captured my first supercell. That moment sparked a passion for both storms and visual storytelling. What began as a childhood fear of thunderstorms grew into a lifelong drive to chase them. Influenced by shows like Storm Chasers and The Weather Channel, I started pursuing storms as soon as I could drive, expanding from local chases to trips across the Great Plains—from Texas to North Dakota. Today, storm chasing and photography are inseparable parts of who I am—capturing the raw power and beauty of weather and turning it into art. When storms aren't present, I can be found searching the mountains for beautiful landscapes. Fall is one of my favorite seasons outside of storm season. I absolutely love the vibrant colors we get here in Colorado.
