Where Light Falls
Light is the common thread running through these photographs, made in different places and over many years. I am interested in how it can strip a scene back to its essentials — isolating a figure, defining a gesture, turning architecture into geometry or allowing a landscape to become almost abstract. The subjects change, but the impulse remains the same: to notice those brief moments when light and shadow transform the ordinary.
