Global Blinddates

"People meet places and start sharing stories. This is the direction of time." 'Global Blinddates' is an ongoing, photographic project that essentially deals with the interaction and construction of time and space and started in 2018. In terms of content, it questions the timing of physical encounters between people in certain rooms and finds its own meaning in the form of paired motifs. The role of globalization sets light accents and inspires the viewer to deal with the, often unconscious, encounter of global currents. All photographs are taken while traveling and can also be read as the photographer's travel diary.

In her photographic practice, Stephie Braun (*1995 in Regensburg, Germany) examines the limits of human imagination, the creative value of the photographic medium in the 21st century and the abstraction of the everyday in the form of visual content. The main focus of her work as a photographer is based in the field of sustainable fashion and editorials as well as commercial campaigns.

In 2019 she won a special prize by Germany VOGUE for upcoming fashion photographers and finished her studies of photography. She is now working as a freelance photographer and creative director in Munich, Germany.
