F R A G M E N T S of O R E G O N
Oregon is a condensed of America. A shot of authenticity, of a raw nature, of weirdness, of reassuring clichés of America greatness, of an over-sized country with all its amazing cinematic atmospheres. This photographic series hightlights the beautiful great landscapes, the little towns passed on the road, the neon signs flickering in front of a bar naturally time worn, the roads with perfect tarmac making their way through thick pine forests, the misty beaches along the PNW, the lonely souls I crossed, the essence of the travel, of the unexpected. Those scenes are like pieces of adventures to puzzle alone or to share. As often in my series, I use people passing by, natives or tourists to paint my photographies. I integrate these silhouettes into large natural or urban landscapes, in order to always detach from the subject, to allow readers to project themselves and build their own story, their own journey. Welcome to "Fragments of Oregon"!
