Beach Stories
People on the beach to me are usually closer to their true self, not attached to obligations, social musts or taboos. They are able to let go, they are liberated and closer to any emotions they chose. Although not shot on the actual street, my sense of street photography guides me to capture moments that entail this freedom. Street photography to me is the art of being aware. I am not at all observant and I certainly have Attention Deficit Disorder. I found out that when I carry my camera it is my secret wand that metamorphoses me to awareness and mindfulness. Using all six senses, using all the soul inside I try and capture images that are unseen. Images I’d never observe otherwise.
