Once feared by rivaling criminals, Peter stepped out and is back on the right track. But he finds it hard to live in a normal society. Peter, who grew up on the streets of Amsterdam amid drugs and violence, now partially lives in a small farmhouse on the countryside of southern France. Here, things are different. Peter barely masters the French language and the nearby café and bakery closed down a few years ago. The only thing that still draws a crowed in this area is the local cemetery. But Peter loves it here.
