Matt Wegner

His father was a photographer and Matt's earliest memories include helping develop film in the bathroom of the two bedroom flat in Gdynia, Poland, where he was born. He lived in the United Kingdom all of his adult life and is currently based in Dorset, southwest England.

Since his father passed away, Matt redirected his focus to breathing life into the collection of 35mm and medium format film cameras he inherited, and started sharing his work with the wider audience.

Matt is passionate about live music, street, and documentary photography, but his heart is always drawn to portrait. He enjoys the process of providing space for people to meet their reflection in the lens, allowing to capture true emotion and character.
