Heritage

My project consists of creating ephemeral shapes around the female body, in a landscape with the rejects of the society of consumerism: the production of these packing materials that end up sullying the landscape and continue to destroy the environment. Creating without making new waste makes sense and accompanies with humor the very serious question of the kind of heritage left to future generations. On our way to sobriety?

Throughout my youth I have travelled and lived in places highly contrasted with oneanother. From dense cities like Kolkata(Calcutta) to villages in the scottish or dutch countryside. I was definitly influenced by all these different cultures and settings. It has certainly made me aware of the scarseness of unsullied landscape. I grew up with a certain discipline toward the environment through my education. Motherhood has made me even more aware and I seek to bring change into my day to day life to contribute to the necessary change. Photography was introduced to me by my father and it has been part of my life ever since. I currently live in Paris.
