I selected these photos because I feel that they are a good representation of the artwork I want to create. Escapism is an important theme in my work. I love photography that can create an alternative perspective. I’m from a small rural town in the UK, and I\'m also very dyslexic. During my time in school and as a teenager, it felt like the only interest in my life was my friends and photography. I’ve spent so much time day dreaming about more imaginative and hyper-realistic interpretations of my surroundings. This is something I want to represent in my photos. A lot of these images feature saturated, dramatic locations and dreamy narratives. I want to capture the vibrant ontology of youth hood.
