François’ work is a documentation of hidden geometries he comes across in homogenized urban environments. Wherever he goes, François likes to observe the local visual language that defines our cities and cultures. Away from popular landmarks, he wanders around modest neighborhoods searching for overlooked scenes that reflect the local visual identity. By playing with the relationship that exists between man-made and nature, abstraction and reality, he aims to reveal the familiar beauty and extraordinary humor in seemingly mundane spaces.
